Marks & LogoTypes for Wearables

Featuring text from “The Book” by El Lissitzky, this publication draws connections between marks and logotypes from clothing brands and the typographical principles Lissitzky, the Russian artist and designer, advocates in his writings. The comparison is manifested as a “wearable brochure” (a printed T-shirt). Areas of the shirt are zoned into flexible "T" shapes to play off of the theme of logo marks and include itself as a part of the many featured brands. These T-shirts were screenprinted by hand on Printstar heavyweight Tees with 6 total editions.
